Theextended version of Lord of the Rings is fantastic. The extra scenes add so much to the movie and fill in some blanks in the theatrical release. This is much better than the extended version of the Hobbit Trilogy. Honestly, I do not think I will be able to watch the theatrical version of LOTR again without noticing how much was cut out.
